In honor of Veterans Day, thank you and you're welcome

I'd like to interrupt the usual DJ talk to wish all of my fellow veterans a happy holiday and thank you for your service. And to all who wished me one, you're very welcome. Now it's time to rest from these free meals I've been eating...

I kinda missed this place

I had a lot of free time after work to just drive around, visit different stores, etc. That's because we're off for Veterans Day tomorrow so there was no rush getting home. As I looked around the city of Milwaukee, I found it surprising that as a young adult, you fight so hard to move away from your hometown just to come back to it. This place really isn't so bad. I got a job where I'm respected and can grow. I can imagine moving my family back here and watching them grow too. And when my DJ business picks up again (I already have a meeting with a potential customer on Thursday), things will really get rolling. Not to mention that I will start school soon. So, yeah, I kinda missed this place.

Rest Inside My Love

Listened to some music on my iPhone at work and discovered this. Great song. It really fit her voice.

Winin' and mixin'

Just chillin' back, sipping on some wine and working on my next mixtape. I might post it on Mixcloud tomorrow as part of Throwback Thursday like I used to do. Whether or not I do it, you'll hear it first on this blog. So stay tuned...

Collecting music

Nothing much today. Just collecting music. I have a huge collection; to see some of what I got, check out the Pinterest plug-in on the side of the blog. But now it's time for bed. You all have a good night and make it a great day tomorrow!

Rebuilding

Hey everyone, I hope ya'll enjoyed your Halloween. Well, since I moved back to Milwaukee, there's a couple things that I have to change. Starting with the phone number, if you notice a 253 area code on my windshield, that's my old number. My new one is listed on my website. Also, I have to get new business cards, car magnets, sweatshirts--basically, anything that has my old number. It's a work in progress and it takes money for that. Thankfully, my new job should provide a few funds for that.

Talk to you guys tomorrow...
