Oh, by the way, the reception went great!

I've been a little busy, you know, still deciding which full-time job I'm gonna take, that I forgot to tell you about the wedding reception I DJ'd on Saturday (in case you couldn't tell by the pictures). But I had a lot of fun! The wedding couple was really nice, a lot of guests took my business cards and I got some nice tips.

It actually felt good because I kinda felt lousy coming in (I got rejected for a job that I interviewed for the day prior). Then, when the night ended, I became more certain that I want to go back to school to learn about the music business. But I'm gonna wait until after I start my new job, whichever one I choose.

Talk to you tomorrow!

Read my music reviews on Amazon.com

Hey ya'll. As a DJ, I like to listen to a lot of music. Some time ago, I used to write reviews on Amazon.com. Although I haven't written one in years, you can check them out to see my tastes in music (listed under the name, E.J. Rupert). I've been trying to add a widget to this blog so you can get to the reviews faster but I haven't figured it out yet. So until then, click here to read it and enjoy!

New old school mix for #TBT

Hey ya'll, what's good?

I had a phone interview for a full-time job but I think I bombed it. I wasn't as smooth and relaxed as I wanted to be but I made it through. Maybe it was the thought of, "If I say one wrong thing, I won't get the job." Or maybe I'm just trippin'.

Anyway, in honor of Throwback Thursday, here's an old school mix. Enjoy!

Quiet weekend for me...

Well, a quiet weekend for me, seeing that I have no gigs this weekend. But I've stumbled upon an old "Yo! MTV Raps" documentary online (thanks to +HippyHai). I used to watch this show as a kid and for the artists they interviewed, I played some of their music at my gigs. Memories...
See you guys next week and don't forget to like, follow and check out all my social media links!
